UPDATE - August 8, 2024
We are excited to announce that we have hired a teacher for grades 1-2 at Sarah Porter for the 2024-2025 school year! We will be able to offer instruction for our students at their school as originally planned.
With the hiring of a teacher, the immediate and urgent need to make a significant change at Sarah Porter this school year no longer exists. As a result, the Fall Mountain School Board will not be hosting a listening session tonight, Thursday, August 8, regarding instruction at Sarah Porter. Instead, the Fall Mountain School Board will have the item on their agenda for discussion at the regular school board meeting on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 5:30 PM in the FMRHS Library. This will be an initial conversation regarding the Board's role in supporting the Langdon Community in the education of Langdon students and the development of a long-term plan that meets Langdon's needs.
